Grade 8 Boys

The Gr 8 Selects team won a tournament championship in Aridrie October 29, 2005.
After easily winning their first two games  they lost their third game, by 30+ points, to a very good NSD team.
Their record got them into the championship game against that same NSD
team.
Things did not look all that good as a number of players were hurt and
very tired.  The NSD team did look very strong...
Well, 15 minutes into the game we were leading by 30 points! NSD kept coming on and with about 5 minutes left, the game was tied!
The two team battled back and forth with our Grade 8's finally winning out
by 2 points!

Vishal Banipal (Selects Gr 8) was named tournament MVP!
